Guys, you should be ashamed of yourselves for this, Snowtown was good but this is an abomination. It's not clever, edgy or anything else you might have been going for. Furthermore, I almost feel the convulted nature of if what you're actually trying to say is true or false is almost sinister. It's like tactics were employed to complicate where on the truth scale this lied. And that's terribly immoral.

Such is life. I watched Kelly Gang last night, and I really enjoyed it! But Im American, and have no connection to the Ned Kelly story plete departure from 1917, but still a great film in its own right! Bottom line: George MacKay is extraordinary and crazy talented! 😍🤩. NO STOP IT! 😂Worst chills I have ever had... First of all right up the word 'true ' in the opening credits indicates that it's not true but a play on words.
It's Peter Carey's version - the book is a gorgeous piece of dirt poetry and I think Justin has created his own. The blood red jacket of Ned sanguine against the harsh landscape sets up the crazy rode your in for. Yes they look like a bunch of bogans, yes aesthetically and lyrically it's all over the place but it's a different journey.
There are moments of boredom, incoherent rambling but never do the actors slip or falter in pushing forward. Without giving too much away the shoot out scene in Glenrowan is utterly breathe taking.
I think this is courageous film making.
It's interesting to note the high high praise international reviewers have given this, yet how harsh Australian viewers comments have been. It's not for everyone but keep an open mind, and perhaps, we are ready to re-imagine an Australian icon as just lost and angry and beaten.

Nicholas Cage actually made me laugh more than anything. What an utter load of rubbish. There's a couple of hours of my life that I'm never getting back. Such a pity as the cast of this should have made this something truly great. This will only be memorable for being terrible. I wish George Mackay came to Russia. Nobody ever: wakes from Nightmare to watch horror trailers Me: did exactly that. The begining reminded me of grown ups. I read Peter Carey's book and loved it. This (so called) adaptation is disgraceful, simply over thought rubbish. When will we ever see a decent reproduction of this great story? Luckily I have my John Jarret miniseries to fall back on, by far and away the best reproduction.

As an Australian who loves the story of Ned Kelly, this movie was a complete embarrassment and a waste of my time. I was really looking forward to the movie and ive never been so disappointed in my life. So off. Ned Kelly would be turning in his grave over this movie. IS IT OUT. I really don't mean to be rude but I'm at the end of the video and I'm still not hearing a review. Just a background of the character, a synopsis and a rundown of whose acting in the film. This interview is so brilliantly insightful. Now I'm even more excited to see this film! 💓.
